The Bulgarian

The Bulgarian started his road to success about 10 years ago in Cape Town, South Africa. He immersed himself into a wide variety of electronic genre's, and opened his own music studio in 2003. It was then that the aspiring producer decided to focus primarily on productions, and thus was born 'The Bulgarian'.

The Bulgarian decontstrucs conventional house, while sparring with elements of glitch, sleaze and tech to remaster the beats in his own personal style. After multiple highly successful releases and partnerships with other labels and producers, his unconventional bump and thump sound landed him a spot with Potty Mouth Music where he resides today.

Jabba Julls

is the musical alias of Jabba Julls Fourgeaud, the acclaimed French producer and DJ. A Parisian to the core, Jabba Julls currently resides in Berlin where he is working on his second album and preparing an eye-opening live show. LikJabba Jullse his adventurous music, Jabba Julls is a bundle of energy and ideas whose thirst for provocation and stimulation has led to him being hailed as one of the wildest talents of his generation.

Now 28, he has spent more than a decade at dance music's cutting edge. A rough diamond in the Warp label's glittering crown, Jabba Julls made serious waves when he released his debut album, 'Smash', in 2005 and toured the world with his first live show. Described by its composer as "a style orgy, a psychedelic celebration of conflict", 'Smash' soon became a word-of-mouth classic. Its follow-up is shaping up handsomely, too. Many know Jabba Julls as the producer behind 'Utopia', the shimmering six-minute apres-rave odyssey that was used to great effect in an O2 commercial in the UK.

Tommy Gun

Tommy Gun aka Chico Red first became captivated by Jungle/DnB in 1994 whilst in a band with Chris Martin (Coldplay), and was soon busy playing at open-air festivals all over the West of England. In 1996 he took time out to tour Canada, playing at several parties in Toronto and Montreal. In 1998, he set up the famous Infinity FM in the Midlands which covered the best in DnB & Garage. After the big hit '138 Trek' by DJ Zinc, Chico Red then became heavily involved in the Breakbeat scene in London, before moving in 2004 to Bulgaria to set up a club in Bansko. He since played all over the Balkans and his sound has morphed into what he calls "Ghetto Funkin' Bass" or more simply "Wobbly House"- Electro House music with a heavy Old Skool Jungle influence and artists such as Jack Beats, Zinc, Sub Focus, High Rankin and Foamo leading the way. His sets take the audience through a journey of bass - from Dubstep, Baltimore and Funky Breaks, through to Jackin', Electro, Ghetto/Wobbly House - all with some special edits and promos.

Stefak

The disease known as 'electronic music' infected the patient called StefaK back in 1995. Since then this disease passed through various phases and now can be declared chronic. In 2004 together with a group of friends started the tech-house.info website and soon after that began organizing parties. Those parties took place in Sofia's Lifehouse club and due to their success turned into series called "United In House". In the beginning of 2004 alongside with Pafel and few bottles of "Menta" he started as joke a radioshow on the Burgas online "Radio Proval". It didn't take that long that that show was transformed into a Menta Session Podcast and respectively into blog. Recently StefaK started taking part in the monthly radio show led by The Bulgarian and Vlad Sokolov on ibreaks.co.uk. From some time now he is also a A&R of Feta Recordings. His latest piece of work can be hared on !tittle's podcast catalog.

DJ Smooke

Dj Smooke (moniker of Kuzman Kuzmanov) came in serious contact with music at the early age of 13. At this age he started a metal group which kept playing till 1997. While he was working as a sound engineer in a radio station in his home town his musical taste started to change and he shifted his interest towards the electronic sound. Soon he became his frequent appearances on the Bulgarian techno scene. His style and sound could be defined as a pumping techno, which drives the crowd to the dancefloor and urges it on restless dancing and creates a perfect party mood. His dynamic mixing style and skills behind the decks raise the party mood on the dancefloors to incredible levels. His favorite labels are Racetrax, Subsounds, Shark Attack, R.A.W., Cluster, etc. Smooke works together with Versus in Hitex ProMotion, a promoting organization that they developed together. They soon gained momentum and became one of the leading promotion crews in Bulgaria. Fans associate them with excellent parties. Depending on the theme of the specific party he plays house or techno music. DJ Smooke prefers progressive tribal house and pumping techno. He achieved a residence of the most popular broadcast for house music in Bulgaria - 'MasterMix' at radio NRJ / Bulgaria. He has played along world most famous DJs like Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Marco Bailey, Speedy J, Surgeon, RedHead, Mario Ranieri, Kay D. Smith, Amok, Slobodan, Thomas Heckman, Lori The HiFi Princess, Deetron, Miss Sunshine, Radan Mach, Boss, Paco Maroto, Carlos Manaca, Rick Pier O..Neil, Miguel Mercedes, Dominic Plaza, Edgar Canete, Richi and many more. His mixes are marked by fast cutting mixing style, energetic BPM, frequent track changes and maintaining high streaming energy which he supports by experimenting frequently with acapellas, additional sounds and scratches. He is a producer since 2006. In love with music, he spends almost all of his time in the studio composing, mixing and remixing. He formed his own unique style and own sound in his musical taste represent in tracks. It was not long before he made his first track "Micro tune" of which was heavy supported by many respected DJs. With his great understanding of what rocks a dancefloor and exceptional production skills he was soon making and remixing tracks on a regular basis. Dj Smooke is fast becoming a major player in the global electronic community. But his passion is for the finest underground, electronic house, minimal and techno music, represented by the releases. Kuzman scored his first hit in 2008 with his debut recording, released under his 'Djport LP' alias, which found it's way into the bags, and compilations . These days Kuzman is concentrating on solo material for various labels. The reactions are tremendous. Now, he have developed into one of the hottest underground minimal, house and techno acts on the global circuit. Citing influences from the more melodic sides of techno, minimal and electronic house he managed to forge his own unique sound made up of deep basslines, concise kicks, jolting riffs and atmospheric, captivating melodies. His sound has seen rise through dance musicís ranks to become one of the most talked about His love for the party, the music and the crowds he play to clearly reflects in his performances behind the decks. His talent and hard graft in the studio, always seeking perfection, has seen his prolifics releases. Throw in his numerous remixes and you begin to understand why he is so in demand in every aspect. The long awaited album is now well on the way to completion. This year will be the year for Dj Smooke to make a huge name for himself on the underground and commercial music scene !!!

Funktool

Ivailo Minchev was born in 1989 in Bourgas. From his early childhood he had grown up with rock and hard-rock bands, that his father listened to. His music passion continues to grow with the years. In his teenage years he had a lot of musical experience, attending a lot of different musical events - from metal, hardcore, hip hop concerts to techno, house, drum and bass parties, but his love remained in the electronic music. In the past 2 years he discovers the funk, soul, jazz, lounge and downtempo. He felt inlove with this and that he needs to play that music at parties and to make people happy. From 2 years till now, he is organising and promoting parties at local bars and clubs in Bourgas. His mixes offer a lot of variety, but mainly they are full with nuschool funk, hip hop influenced funky breaks, oldschool funk and soul, downtempo and lounge, breakfunk classics, afro and latin music, all mixed smooth and clear. From time to time, he likes to put forgotten electronic and even rock oldies in his sets, just for the fun...

Shamanze

According to a certain number of analogue media, Ventseslav Dimitrov was born on October, 26th 1978 in Bulgaria. His musical indulgings range from Kraftwerk to Kasabian, from Autechre to Ministry, from David Bowie to Mick Harris etc. He recognizes himself as an art-working class hero about the end of the past millenium, plunging into the heavily pulsing new-born electro-scene in Bulgaria. Along with playing vinyl at numerous events and venues in the country (Cute Mute, Ortortor, Techno Files Open-Air, 5 years Metropolis etc.), he executes a lot of the activities, concerning the Z-Dimension promoting & release joint. In the autumn of 2003 he glorifies the Bulgarian tricolour banner at the international RedBull Music Academy in Capetown, South Africa a selected gathering of nonprofessional sound engineers, editors, as well as artists from all over the world, with curators and lecturers being the acclaimed Bob Moog, Alex Rosner, Hugh Masekela, Steinski, Clive Chin etc. About that time witnesses the release of the production, which once and for all establishes the SHAMANEZ brand criss-crossing the land from Vidin to Malko Tarnovo and from Tutrakan to Bansko. The Defloratsia release of cMOTAN MC + SHAMANEZ beat the crap out of the mainstream by a fair number of crucial points: its distribution being (still) Free Download, no one flaunting imaginary money, cars and chicks, and fans receiving an overdose of sincere rhymes backgrounded by a sound, original in both composing and fulfillment, all with over 25000 downloads up to now. What follows is a decent schedule of one-man shows, as well as jams, including festivals and club events in all major cities in Bulgaria. Currently he is carrying out an original idea, having been transformed into the MONOKOM net-label, devoted to the music as an experiment and fun. To this very moment, MONOKOM SUPREMES has nailed a lot of releases and podcasts, two workshops targeting enthusiasts willing enough to develop better skills in handling musical hardware & software under the name of MONOKAMP PROJECT. Player Sekwent produces a limited number of extreme sessions and constantly welcomes new ideas and fresh recruitment in his sweltering pack.

DJ Escodero

In 1993 he bought some cd's from Warp Records and then his passion to the electronic music begins! He started his carrier like a local DJ in some small clubs in Varna. In 1999 some big DJ's heard him and decided to give him an event in Comics Club/Varna. He played with all most of the best Bulgarian DJ's and world DJ's like: Filterheadz, Tom Baker, Hi Fi Princess, Max Brown, Space DJ'z, DJ Cave, Ade Fanton, Roby Mannarini, DJ Surgeon, DJ Boss, DJ Manush, Andreas Kremer and more.In the middle of May 2007 his first single is released by Hoshi Digital! After this 1st release for Hoshi, he release some more tracks for the same label with Kozin, Thomas and Mioko, and he release an EP for the label of Tony Thomas Progress Recordings. He is working on producing own tracks and some underground remixes with Kozin, PHM, Thomas, Timmo, Resonate, DJ Smooke, Sve, Platona...

DJ Stoned

Stoned is a bitter old geezer. His style is wildly chaotic or in his own none-the-wiser words ìall over the placeî, ranging from hip-hop to jazz. He is currently active and seeking appointments. He is often rude to the crowd, playing with his back to the dancefloor. He is well-known for not taking requests, but if he does ñ he will do it in exchange for money, drinks and/or drugs and will not play the requested track anyway, no matter how great it is. He is vulgar and abrasive and his only words overheard during sets are ìFahk Offî. Being the lazy-ass he is, he has written f*ck off on the headband of his phones and if anyone approaches him, he just bows his head down. To summarize, avoid at all costs! Cheers!
